What in the world did Comcast do to you? I read your blog to Jim and he is as incredulous as I. We have always had superior service. They even answer our phone calls quickly and then respond courteously and take care of our problems efficiently. Is service determined by town, do you think? In other words, if you lived in Loveland would you be getting better service because the Comcast crew is better here? I don't know how all that works---are my calls answered locally or are all calls routed through Denver? I'm sorry your Comcast experience has been such a struggle. I'm sure it is a major frustration.

admittedly that was a bit of a rant. but i tried to make it creative at least : ). comcast has done all of the things i mentioned in the post across many places i've lived including san francisco, chicago, boulder and maybe others. in any case, consider yourself lucky for receiving a good experience. and i appreciate you reading my blog as well ; )

This blog couldn't have come at a better time for Brandon and I. We too have felt the rath of Comcast. Not only have we had the similar problems you described above, our recent five month episode started with a system outage the entire Memorial Day weekend, followed by having a cable run the perimeter of our property until the week after Labor Day, and culminating with Comcast finally listening to our weekly requests to bury the cable only to have them tear up our yard and cut the line to our sprinkler system. When Brandon called to complain and ask for compensation for our troubles, they offered us $20. I'm glad I can laugh about it now!

it's good to be able to laugh about it. i don't know if i'll ever get there ;) one day they will get what's coming to them.
